*dances a little*

IIIIIIII got to see Laura today!  YAYYYYYYY!

I feel better now.  I missed her so much.  And now I have a better idea of where I stand.  And it's not knee deep in quicksand.  Which is good.  I think I may actually be standing on fairly solid ground- just surrounded by water for the moment.

Okay, I apologize, I took that metaphor too far.  But, on a humorous note, last night's tally (this is the first tally I have ever had occasion to keep, because things like this don't usually happen to Jonas):

-Times checked out by someone standing right in front of me: 2

-Times told I was handsome by a girl with a boyfriend: 1

-Times told that "Jonas, you make girls happy" by different girl with boyfriend: 1

-Times told I looked "snazzy" by one girl: 3

-Times told that someone had had a crush on me (but no longer did): 1

- Times one girl tried to get me to focus on her boobs: 5?

Yeah.  Last night was a good night.  Today was also excellent.

Breakfast at Tiffany's

Yayyyyyy!  I just saw Night Watch, which means I also saw Kayla (tickets), Alyssa (usher), and Christine (crazy good actress).  I missed them soooooooooo much.  Carrabba's after the show:

Christine:  "Cherry pie... it's sweet... and warm... and..."

Alyssa:  "You would know!"

Christine:  "Cherry pie!  CHERRY PIIIIIEEEEEE!"

...I guess you kinda hadta be there.  But it was awesome to see them again.  I love them.

Now, on the other hand, I'm sitting here by myself, which means my thoughts turn to you.  When you left for college, my corsage was still as beautiful as the day I wore it.  I came back to find it withered and brown.

Is this really the way things are meant to be?

You say that we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
But I know you just don't care

And I said "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it."
And I said, "Well, that's one thing we've got."

I see you - the only one who knew me
And now your eyes see through me
I guess I was wrong
So what now? It's plain to see we're over,
And I hate when things are over -
When so much is left undone

And I said "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it."
And I said, "Well, that's one thing we've got."

You say that we've got nothing in common
No common ground to start from
And we're falling apart
You'll say the world has come between us
Our lives have come between us
But I know you just don't care

And I said "What about Breakfast at Tiffany's?"
She said, "I think I remember the film,
And as I recall, I think, we both kinda liked it."
And I said, "Well, that's one thing we've got."

I miss you so much.
